ITT Industries (www.itt.com) acquired F.B. Leopold Company (www.fbleopold.com), a move that is expected to expand ITT’s ability to provide pretreatment filtration technology for surface water, reuse, and desalination.


ITT Industries (www.itt.com) acquired F.B. Leopold Company (www.fbleopold.com), a move that is expected to expand ITT’s ability to provide pretreatment filtration technology for surface water, reuse, and desalination.

Founded in 1924, Leopold is a provider of clarification and gravity filtration technology. Its products include clarification systems, dissolved air flotation systems, filter-under-drain systems, anthracite based filters, nutrient removal filters, sludge collectors, and automatic filter control systems.

According to ITT, Leopold helps position it to provide customers with a wide ranging water and wastewater product portfolio, including a complete line of pumps, water filtration, and disinfection products.
