The HART Communication Foundation (HCF, www.hartcomm.org) will host a special roundtable discussion on the impending WirelessHART Communication standard Monday, Feb. 12, 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. EST at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Fla. The meeting is free of charge and open to all automation professionals who use HART technology in their plants.

The meeting is designed to provide users the opportunity to:
• Review the current status of the coming WirelessHART Communication standard.
• Participate in a discussion of technology issues such as coexistence, security, reliability, flexibility, interoperability, testing, and more.
• Provide input on issues that will be presented to the Wireless HART Working Group for review and consideration.
Harry Forbes, a senior analyst with research firm ARC Advisory Group (www.arcweb.com), will present an outlook report on industrial wireless at the meeting. Ed Ladd, HCF’s director of technology programs, and Wil Chin, ARC’s director of field devices, will co-chair the meeting.
