ABB Totalflow (www.abb.com/totalflow), a flow application engineering services provider, opened a new office in Natrona Heights, Pa., just outside of Pittsburgh. The office is located in the ABB building in Natrona Heights that houses ABB Turbine Automation.

The office is expected to support ABB Totalflow’s growing business in the Appalachian Basin, as activity surrounding the Marcellus Shale is creating opportunites for the exploration and processing of natural gas resources.

ABB Totalflow expects to leverage its new presence in western Pennsylvania to work with customers on shale gas and coal bed methane wells, as well as upgrading the measurement and gas quality systems at LNG facilities.
