In January 2009 this high accuracy calibration rig for production
calibration of Endress+Hauser Coriolis mass flowmeters (called PremiumCal) received Accreditation from A2LA. The rig offers users of Coriolis meters accuracies of up to +/-0.015% on their mass flow measurements.

Endress+Hauser (www.us.endress.com) received A2LA (www.a2la.org) accreditation for its Coriolis flowmeter calibration rig (called PremiumCal) located at the company’s Greenwood, Ind. facility. The new calibration unit provides +/-0.05 percent accuracy and measurements that deviate no more than +/-0.015 percent from the reference value — equivalent to about the contents of one champagne glass in one thousand liters of water.

According to Endress+Hauser, this level of calibration performance enables its Promass F Coriolis flowmeter line to provide the highest level of accuracy internationally.

As an international company, Endress+Hauser operates in accordance with internationally accepted standards for the accreditation of its products and test methods. One unique facet of the company”s operations is that all Endress+Hauser flow calibration facilities are accredited by different national authorities — including, for example, SAS, A2LA and CNAS — in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.

Endress+Hauser says its recent A2LA accreditation for its Coriolis flowmeter calibration rig is part of a larger investment it is making in its production facilities, as well as its calibration sites in Reinach, Switzerland, Greenwood, Ind. and other locations around the world.
