Laser CladdingServices” LaserHeat Pinpoint Treating is a high-powered laser pinpointheat-treating process designed toextend the lifecycle of critical parts. LaserHeat enhances the metallurgical properties of a part within aspecific critical wear area by providing surface hardening to alocalized area without altering the chemistry of the entire part. Theprocess offers advantages over typical flame and induction-hardening methods that require the part to be heated, such aslow thermal input, minimal distortion, higher part processingspeeds and accurate case depths. The LaserHeatpinpoint surface hardening service can be applied to many high-wearcomponents, such as spindles, transmission shafts, pump shafts, sleeves,locomotive engine cylinders, hydraulic cylinder rams, mixing paddlesand other offshore and onshore components that are exposed to volatile or stressful environments.
