SOR Inc., a provider of level, pressure, temperature and flow instrumentation, named new sales managers for its U.S. Gulf Coast and Western Region businesses. David Smith will manage SOR's Gulf Coast business, and Tom Geissler will manage SOR's Western Regional business.
Mr. Smith comes to SOR with prior experience working for manufacturers of mechanical instrumentation and valves used in the upstream segment of the Oil and Gas Industry. For the last 10-plus years, Mr. Smith worked for Mallard Controls in Regional Sales Manager and National Sales Manager roles where he has gained the support and confidence of many Oil and Gas customers.
Mr. Geissler comes to SOR with prior experience in Oil and Gas, Chemical, Water & Wastewater, Bio-Tech, and Pharmaceutical for manufacturers and manufacturer’s representatives of instrumentation. Mr. Geissler was most recently the Western Regional Sales Manager for Viatran, He also comes to SOR with the unique perspective of having owned his own manufacturer’s representative company specializing in the sales of instruments for OEM and industrial accounts.
