GF Piping Systems”Type 563 Aqua Butterfly Valve is designed specificallyfor non-chemical water applications, with PVC construction and EPDMseal. Suitable usesinclude swimming pools, water parks, aquariums, water processing andfiltration systems. The valve is available in sizes from two to 12 inches, with either a lockablehand lever that moves in five-degree increments, or with a gear-operatedwheel. A glass-filled Polypropylene body and a speciallyengineered body seal with a Q-shaped O-ring eliminates the need forflat gaskets, allowing for easy installation between ANSI and DINflanges. Other features include bi-directional capability,operating temperatures from 32 F to 142 F, and a wetted inner body ofPVC for optimum compatibility. The valve also offers a high 150 PSI rating.
