June 12, 2024 (KROHNE release) — KROHNE, Inc. highlights the OPTIFLUX 6000, an electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF) for hygienic and sanitary applications. The OPTIFLUX 6000 has a robust stainless steel housing which makes it ideal for hygienic and aseptic operation. It is also fully suitable for CIP and SIP. With a large diameter range of 1/10th of an inch up to 6 inches, the OPTIFLUX 6000 is suitable for pharmaceutical process connections and insertion lengths.

The OPTIFLUX 6000 electromagnetic flow sensor from KROHNE  is specifically designed to stay clean and sterile in compliance with the most stringent demands prevailing in the pharmaceutical industry. There are no crevices, gaps or blind spots and the flow sensor offers full CIP/SIP possibilities. The flow sensor conforms to FDA food contact material requirements, for all wetted materials and is certified in accordance with 3A.

With robust stainless steel housing for hygienic and aseptic operation, the OPTIFLUX 6000 offers exact blending, dosing and batching for CIP media including acids and caustic solutions. It is also ideal for applications in large-scale production plants with diameters up to 6 inches.
